Why should kids learn Robotics?

Robotics is a fun way to teach kids about various STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math’s) concepts and programming. It also helps kids build other essential life skills like teamwork, out of box thinking, problem solving etc. Hands on learning help kids to understand the concepts better and retain them


Lego ROBOTICS provides one of the most comprehensive and easy approach to Robotics. They have mapped all the Lego projects with STEM learning which is Early simple machine or powered machine or Lego wedo 2.0 or EV3 Mindstorm. The intuitive drag and drop software to program the robots is very powerful and teach kids basics of programming (which would be very useful for any programming language they learn later) in a very easy to learn way.

How are classes structured?

Each class would be divided into different groups. Kids will work in a team of 3-4 to complete a project and each team would have one project to complete. As the project will require brainstorming, construction and many required programming, they will be encouraged to organize as team and distribute the work. We will ensure that kids are involved in all activities in a project so that each kid gets hands on experience in designing, building and programming the robot.

Class duration is 1.5 hour of Stage 1, Stage 2 and Stage 3.

What’s the difference between class stages?

These are different levels of classes based on complexity of topics covered and projects done.


Stage I: This level is for early age kids; they will learn early simple machine where they can develop their building creating skill with Lego blocks as each week they will work on different projects. With Bee bots, they can learn logic building skills which will help them in level ahead.


Stage II: This stage is for kids who are in Year 2 to 4. They work on Lego Simple and Powered machine where they can build and run projects through motor. Next part is they will work on Lego WeDo 2.0 which will help them to connect with computer and learn build and logic skills with drag and drop Lego software. They will also explore more coding skills with Edison Robotics, with this they can use scratch software to code and run Edison.


Stage III: This stage is for kids who are Year 5 and above, which will cover from all the fundamentals to complex Ev3 Robot building. Kids learn to work with motors and touch, color, infrared sensor. In programming they learn about logic, flow control, loops, decision making. No prior experience with robotics is required to join this level.


They learn about line following robot, functions(My block) and other robotic principles as well. Further in advance stage they will Exposure to Sensor blocks, Data wires, Mathematical and Advanced blocks and other advance robotic principles and projects.

What is the minimum age for my child to participate?

We can enrol as early as they are in Kindergarten with our basic early learner program.

Do the kids need to bring their own laptop or any robotics kit? 

No, we would provide all the necessary things to build and program the robots.

What is your teaching style?

Learning by doing. Kids will have hands on experience doing interesting projects that will require designing, construction, programming and different STEM skills. All projects are designed such that kids can complete a project in one class and see it working.

What is your refund policy?

We don’t offer any refund if you missed class or unable to join during the term.

What is your make-up class policy?

Makeup classes are based on availability in other class and they are not guaranteed. It will not carry over to next term.

Do you accept CREATIVE KIDS Voucher?

Yes, we do. If the activity is over $100, a co-payment would be required for any outstanding balance.


If the activity is under $100, the activity will be fully covered by the voucher, no refund for the balance will be provided.

How do I register my kid and what all payment methods are accepted?

You can call us or email us regarding admission. We will email you registration form with all the details incl payment option or else you can physically visit our institute and pay at front desk by EFTPOS.
